Our client is transforming the market research industry by enabling clients to gather high quality and fast consumer insights themselves through market leading technology. Their software platform is underpinned by award winning market research expertise and they are growing quickly!
They are now looking for a dynamic Sales Director to drive this next chapter. The right candidate will join an already successful team with a clear sector focus and target some of the largest TMTE firms in the world.
Responsibilities include
- As a player/manager, lead a new and existing client sales team in a fast-moving agile business and inspire colleagues to do their best work
- Manage the development of your team against the core competencies of their role
- Develop plans to expand the businesses within your territory
- Deliver and exceed quarterly and annual targets including compiling and monitoring weekly and quarterly forecasts and creating a robust pipeline of opportunities
- Build relationships at Head of or C-suite level
- Maintain awareness of the competitive landscape
- Ensure you and the team utilise the agreed sales Go To Market strategy
Required experience
- 15+ years’ experience growing revenue with blue-chip clients through consultative selling
- 5+ years’ experience managing a team
- Consistent over achievement of team's sales target
- Demonstrable ability to take a new client on a journey resulting in the account growing from a single project to enterprise deal
- Proven ability to open up new companies from cold and grow them
- Experience working with or in TMT or a similar sector
- Research sector, Insight, business intelligence or data background
- Proven track record and comfortable selling into Heads of and C-Suite
- Experience of being a player/coach: managing and developing a team while delivering against personal revenue targets
