As a member of the Customer Partnership Team, the Research Manager is responsible for the management and coordination of internal and external research work and projects across our agency The Research Manager works closely with the Project Management team to ensure successful execution of research projects from start to finish. The Research Manager is responsible for client service, project planning and coordination, and project delivery for their assigned accounts, and knowledge sharing throughout the research team and wider agency portfolio.

Responsibilities and Duties overview:


Project Management

? Take the lead in managing and delivering research projects; scoping methodology, report writing, and delivery to clients in a way that positively impacts their business..

? Manage subcontractors/suppliers as necessary to achieve project objectives, seeking best value at all times.

? Produce insightful analysis and insightful research reports with sophisticated advice to support your clients in their decision-making.

Process Management

? To be responsible for the effective management of internal systems and procedures.

? To foster continuous development of the research process, identify areas for change and implementing any necessary changes identified.

Account Management

? Take the lead on the day to day management of a range of customer accounts and be the first point of contact for these accounts.

? Plan and manage resources effectively for assigned accounts & projects, including financial budgets.

Business Development

? Be knowledgeable on, and deliver a range of research techniques and data analysis.

? Contribute to the development and profile of our research expertise with customers and key influencers to support new business opportunities.

? Work with the Head of Insights and other senior leadership members to win new work from new and existing clients and proactively identify new business opportunities.

Personal Development

? To foster continuous development of self, identifying areas requiring further training and development and sharing areas of expertise with other members of the team.


Key Metrics:

? Account retention & growth (revenue based)

? Internal process quality (efficiency and process improvement)

? Client feedback (satisfaction scores through client surveys)


? Minimum 4 years experience in a market research role

? Experience and knowledge of using quant market research techniques and statistics

? Excellent communication skills

? Highly organised

? Strong work ethic

? Good interpersonal skills

? Attention to detail

? Computer literate

? Proactive nature
