Project Management Director Qual

Summary of role

You will play a key part in proactively supporting the Research Practice on a range of projects. Your specialism will be in qualitative research project management, but you will have an interest in everything else that they do and offer from strategy and branding to data analytics and design.

You will be responsible to ensure research projects are delivered to the highest standards whilst encouraging others to produce outstanding work.


Key Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for the project management of qualitative research working closely with the client facing teams across the business
  • You are responsible to successfully manage suppliers and service level agreements.
  • You play a key role in broader project teams which could be client facing in some circumstances.
  • You are responsible to ensure that the team successfully manage projects and activities so that they are prioritised and delivered on time and within budget.
  • You are responsible to ensure the highest quality of research projects output by the team.
  • You are responsible to create and implement agreed criteria for when PM should and shouldn’t be involved in projects
  • You will line manage and mentor team members in their development and career progression.


Additional Skills

  • You will be a strong relationship builder and communicator and a role model for other PMs.
  • You will have a strong presence in the office – key part of building relationships, both with PM team and client facing teams
  • You will be a real champion of qual project management, willing to demonstrate the value of PM and be prepared to create consistencies in the way we do things at Yonder
