Operations Director, Market Research,  London / hybrid, £65-75,000

Our client is a fast-growing market research firm with an entrepreneurial culture. They work across industries in more than 80 countries with some of the largest brands in the world within Consumer, Media, FS, Consumer healthcare. They work within qualitative and quantitative market research.


  • This will suit an experienced Operations Director with a background in running operations for a research company as well as general management experience.
  • Understanding of market research is necessary, either from past or current experience
  • Three core areas of responsibility:
    1. Team operations oversight:
      • Focus on overall ops strategy and planning
      • Ongoing team resourcing and process oversight 
      • Cross-business unit/division liaising and planning for work with other teams
      • Financial/revenue recognition oversight – planning/oversight on project completion levels month-to-month (including oversight/updating of online management system)
      • Oversight of team admin needs (server/project upkeep)
      • Review and setup new processes/systems, as/when necessary
  1. People element:
    1. Team care and wellness oversight, as/when needed
    2. Team events management and oversight (lunch and learns, seasonal events, etc.)
    3. Someone with more emotional capacity/sensitivity to manage softer team related issues, concerns and stuff that inevitably comes up
    1. HR processes oversight:
      • Oversight of team recruitment
      • Assistance with review process and goal setting etc.
      • Management of salary, holiday and promotion
      • Training and development planning and oversight
