We are an international strategic insight agency, with offices in central London. We are a team of 40, working across the full range of qualitative and quantitative approaches and a range of sectors (including financial services, energy, professional services, tech, telecoms and media, sport and public). Around half of our work is international and we have a client list of which we are very proud.

Our work covers brand, communication, NPD, customer needs and relationships among others. We have a very experienced team of execs and are known in the industry for our creativity and the strength and depth of our thinking.

We have a strong conference presence and have won multiple awards in our 25-year history including MRS Global Agency of the Year in 2019 and The MRS Innovation of the Year award 2020. We have a collaborative, mutually supportive and flexible working environment and a relatively flat structure, but we work hard, and our standards are extremely high.

We have a strong order book and we are keen to add to our team to help support this growth through 2024 and beyond.

We offer flexible working and although we ask all our team to be in the office 3 days per week, we are flexible about these days.

The Role

We are known for the seniority of our team, and we are seeking to replenish this pool with candidates of exceptional potential, who will have made a strong start to their career and want to develop quickly.

This is an opportunity for a bright and ambitious dualist researcher to contribute to and further develop the our offer. The role would be split between working across the full range of our clients and sectors but would mainly be dedicated to working on our biggest client account (a large financial services provider). This client account involves a mix of ad hoc and continuous research and of qual and quant projects. It is almost all international. This is our most important, and also our most prestigious account and the account team is led by our MD

As well as specialist qual and quant researchers, we also have a team of ‘dualists’ who are skilled in all methods and approaches and who don’t identify as either a quallie or quantie. The successful candidate does not have to be fully ‘ambidextrous’ on this – does not have to have 50:50 balance between qual and quant in terms of either skills or experience but does need to be fluent in both disciplines and enjoy both. Ideally, they would also have a strong background in financial services and international research.

The role will include:

  • Helping to win new projects by assisting with/writing proposals and pitching. This will include coming up with imaginative design ideas, usually in a brainstorming forum
  • Managing ad-hoc research projects – including development of project spec, client liaison, design of research materials, communication with team members, scheduling and leading on analysis and reporting
  • Supporting on other research projects – supporting project lead by doing share of fieldwork/moderation, contributing to analysis, story development and debrief
  • Presenting to the client – both pitching and project debriefs
  • On projects with an international, qualitative element, the role will involve selecting and managing local agencies, travelling to brief, moderate/observe, analyse and interpret in overseas markets from time to time.


The role represents an opportunity for a strong candidate with 4-5+ years’ experience, gained preferably in a research agency.
